McCain & Company clients include EMI Christian Music Group; Z Music Television; 1997 Grammy-winning Song of the Year "Change the World" and its songwriters Gordon Kennedy, Tommy Sims and Wayne Kirkpatrick; 1997 Dove Award winner and 1998 Grammy winner Bob Carlisle ("Butterfly Kisses"); multiple Grammy winner and celebrated lyric soprano, Sony recording artist Kathleen Battle; multiple Grammy nominee and world-renowned classical guitarist Christopher Parkening, popular recording artist, speaker and best-selling author T.D. Jakes, and three-time Grammy-nominated rock band Big Tent Revival. Prior to founding McCain & Company in January 1996, McCain served as head of the public relations department at Myrhh Records, representing such artist as Amy Grant, Bryan Duncan, Anointed, Dakoda Motor Co., Greg Long, The 77's, Guardian, and Bruce Cockburn, among others. Major accomplishments at Myrrh included securing over 40 national magazine covers for Myrrh artists in one calendar year. Before going to Myrrh, McCain served as publicist for Benson Music Group, breaking the group 4HIM in the press in 1992/93, and securing the group's first ten national magazine covers, numerous television appearances, and hundreds of feature articles and reviews. 4HIM won the first of three consecutive Dove Awards for Group of the Year in 1993, and was awarded the Christian Booksellers Association's 1993 Impact Award for Total Promotional Campaign.
